The Palacio de Bornos winery
Located in Rueda, our winery was founded and began production in 1976, with a history parallel to that of the Designation of Origin. The first years saw the brand establish itself in Castile and León, before embarking on a rapid expansion nationally and internationally. Palacio de Bornos was the first to produce sparkling wine in Castile and León, as our first production dates back to 1978. The goal was to harness the qualities of the Verdejo variety, starting with a single-varietal base wine that provides personality and a distinctive character. We applied the traditional production method, which allows us to obtain a very high-quality sparkling wine.
Designation of Origin of the Palacio de Bornos Wine: Semi-Sweet Verdejo

The Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viura, and Palomino Fino grapes are produced there.
It has 11,700 hectares of vineyards and 55 wineries.
